Intralinks Pricing in 2026: What It Costs, How the Quote Is Built, and What to Fix Before You Sign

· Founder, Beamprobe

Quick answer

Intralinks does not publish prices. Every data room is quoted after a sales call, based on data volume, number of users, project length and features. Vendr procurement data puts the median contract at $13,950 a year, with deals from $10,000 to over $150,000. User, storage and extension overages are billed on top.

TL;DR. Intralinks does not publish prices. Every data room is quoted per deal after a sales call, and Intralinks says the quote depends on data volume, number of users, project duration and the features you need. The best neutral figure is Vendr’s procurement data: a median contract of $13,950 a year, a range of $10,000 to $150,803, and projects of three to six months, with user, storage and extension overages billed on top. The per-page and per-user prices that circulate online do not hold up, as explained below. For UK deals under £100 million, Beamprobe covers the diligence essentials at £29 a month flat.

How much does Intralinks cost in 2026?

There is no rate card. Intralinks’ own pricing guide says pricing “is customized to meet the specific needs of your deal” and is based on “factors like data volume, number of users, project duration and required features”. Its VDRPro guide says the same: pricing “is tailored specifically to your requirements”. What follows is what buyers and procurement data report, not a list price.

What is reported Figure Source
Median contract $13,950 a year Vendr procurement data, February 2026
Range of contracts $10,000 to $150,803 a year Vendr, February 2026
Typical project length Three to six months Vendr, February 2026
Overages Extra users, storage and time extensions billed separately Vendr, February 2026
Per-page rate $0.40 to $0.85, about $0.60 midpoint Competitor blogs (Peony, Ellty), 2026. No primary source cited
Mid-market rooms $50,000 to $200,000 Competitor blogs only, no source cited
Price in GBP None published We found no GBP figure from any source

Vendr is the only figure in the table that comes from contracts rather than from a competitor’s blog. Its median works out at about $1,160 a month spread across a year. Most deal rooms do not run a year, so read it as the price of a typical engagement rather than a monthly rate.

How is an Intralinks quote built?

Intralinks names four factors, and its product documentation shows how they turn into an invoice.

  1. Data volume. Pages and storage are billing metrics. The December 2025 release added a Page Count Report “to improve billing transparency”, and VDRPro usage screens show “billing-metric-aligned data (including pages and storage)”. Billing follows what you upload, not what bidders read.
  2. Number of users. Seats are a pricing factor in their own right, and Vendr lists extra users among the overages. A sell-side room with forty bidder teams is priced differently from one with four.
  3. Project duration. The quote buys a term, typically three to six months. Time extensions are billed separately, and deals overrun.
  4. Features and services. Redaction, translation and NDA handling sit in a separate Deal Services line with no published prices. DealCentre includes translation “with optional add-ons for larger or more complex projects”, and some security features, such as SecurityHub Identity+, are add-ons to a basic tier.

Vendr also lists professional services, premium support, data migration or export fees, and AI-powered redaction, advanced analytics and custom reporting as items that may be charged as add-ons. Dedicated customer service managers provide support “24/7/365” until the deal closes, but Intralinks does not say whether that is in the base price, so ask.

What do the “$25 a user” and “$0.60 a page” figures mean?

Two Intralinks prices are repeated across comparison sites, and neither describes what a deal room costs.

$25 per user per month comes from software directory listings for “Intralinks VIA Subscription”. VIA is Intralinks’ file-sharing product, not the DealCentre or VDRPro data rooms used for M&A, and Papermark dates the reports behind the figure to 2018 to 2020. CapLinked, another competitor, calls it a figure “attached to the wrong product”. If a budget was built on it, rebuild the budget.

$0.40 to $0.85 a page appears on several competitor blogs, sometimes credited to Vendr. Vendr’s Intralinks page has no per-page figure. Pages are a billing metric, so a per-page element in a quote is plausible, but the rate itself is unverified. Ask for yours in writing rather than budgeting from a blog.

Which Intralinks product will you be quoted for?

Intralinks sells several products, and the quote depends on which one the sales team scopes.

  • DealCentre AI is the M&A platform, with modules for deal preparation, marketing, diligence, deal management and DealVault, the archive that replaces “one-time downloads and lost USB drives”.
  • VDRPro is the virtual data room for other transactions, priced the same way, on your requirements.
  • FundCentre AI covers fundraising, due diligence questionnaires, onboarding and investor reporting for fund managers. Its reporting module was formerly InvestorVision.
  • VIA is secure file sharing, sold separately and not a deal room.

DealCentre Prep advertises “self-launch capabilities”, which is about setting up a room quickly once you are a customer. None of the products has a public price or a self-serve purchase.

Is there an Intralinks free trial?

Not for the data room. intralinks.com offers “Request a Demo” and a quote form. Vendr says Intralinks “does not typically offer free trials for production use”, and TrustRadius says there is “no free version or trial” for DealCentre. Some comparison sites mention a 30-day trial, but for VIA file sharing, and Intralinks’ own site does not confirm it.

How do I negotiate an Intralinks quote?

If Intralinks is the right tool for the deal, the quote is still negotiable. Fix these six things in writing before you sign.

  1. Size the room before the call. Estimate the finished room in pages and gigabytes, because both are billing metrics.
  2. Fix the user count and the price of each extra seat.
  3. Fix the term and the extension rate. Three to six months is typical, and deals overrun.
  4. Ask which Deal Services are in the base price. Redaction, translation and NDA handling are a separate line. Get the list attached to the quote.
  5. Price the archive now. Agree the cost of the closing archive and audit trail before the room goes live, not at completion, when you have no leverage.
  6. Get a second quote outside SS&C. Datasite or iDeals for a sales-led benchmark, a flat-fee room for the real alternative.

When is Intralinks worth the price?

Intralinks has run data rooms for banks since the 1990s, and on the deals it was built for the price is not the problem. Pay it when:

  • The deal is syndicated lending or a capital markets transaction, and the arranging bank works on Intralinks
  • Counsel or the bank mandates Intralinks by name in the engagement letter
  • The process is cross-border with many bidder teams and needs round-the-clock support in several languages
  • Your firm already runs funds on FundCentre and wants deal rooms under the same contract
  • The room needs managed services such as redaction and translation run by the vendor

If none of those apply, the quote is buying capacity you will not use. A typical UK fundraise or sub-£100 million sale needs an NDA gate, per-recipient links, watermarking, page-level analytics and an audit trail at closing. Those are standard at the flat-fee tier.

Who owns Intralinks?

SS&C Technologies. SS&C completed the purchase on 16 November 2018 for a total consideration of $1.5 billion, $1 billion in cash and $500 million in SS&C stock, when Intralinks had more than 4,000 clients. Intralinks was founded in 1996, bought by TA Associates in 2007 and listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2010. Recent product work has gone into AI: DealCentre AI was shown at SS&C’s Deliver conference in October 2024, and Harvey announced an integration with Intralinks in June 2026.
